What is Church Web Site Awareness Week

Coming up next week is “Church Web Site Awareness Week; or to put it another way; “Make mywcoc.org your Home Page for a week (or more if you want to).  See the additional article for details on how to make the church web site your homepage on four of the major web browsers.

VBS Planning Meeting – April 16th at 9: a.m.

Our next VBS Planning meeting will be April 16th at 9 a.m. for more practical planning as we consider how to share the story of “David: A man after God’s own Heart” with our children.

There is a place for everyone to help! It’s gonna be GOOD! If you were not able to make last month’s meeting, see Becca for more details.

The Ongoing Word Becoming Flesh

In this week’s scripture-packed sermon, our beloved minister Bob Kolodner teaches us about the body of Christ. Bob brilliantly assembles the scripture of John and the words of Paul in Ephesians and 1 Corinthians to illustrate how the Christian church today is the living incarnated body of Christ.

Eph. 4 – As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

This week’s greek word is ‘Sarx’, meaning ‘Flesh’ or ‘Body’.
