Care Groups

Care Groups

There is even more opportunity for spiritual growth outside the building than inside. The Care Group ministry seeks to grow our families in their daily lives by providing them a closer, more personal setting to share times of fellowship, service, and community. There are groups meeting in homes, after church at the building, and throughout Warrenton and Culpeper.

Current Care Groups

The Ryon Care Group

Usually meets at the building or sometimes at members homes on first and third Sundays. Run by Tom and Cathy Ryon.

The Families with Young Children Care Group

This Care Group meets at the building first and third Sundays directly after service, and is primarily for (but not limited to) families with young children.  Facilitated by Bob and Nancy Kolodner.

Hernandez Care Group

Facilitated by our Minister Bob and his wife Nancy Kolodner, this group is generally for older members of the WCoC family,  but also has a family with our youngest member attending. So truly, all are welcome.   This group meets at the Church building on second and fourth Sundays, the opposite weeks from the Families with Young Children care group.

No matter which care group you might choose to attend, you will find good food, good fellowship and compassion at the center of each one.  It is a wonderful way to get to know new people, learn about Christ and share prayers and encouraging scripture in support of your day-to-day challenges.

Contact: Eddie Perez or Bob Kolodner for more details about these and other small groups among the congregation.  Or if you want to start your own care group, Eddie or Bob will be delighted to help you get started.
